Entergy At It Again: 10 Years of Overcharging Uncovered
Life, liberty and the persuit of happiness.
Dec 14, 2010 - Entergy Corp broke it's own system agreement by selling electricity to it's customers at a higher price than it was selling to others. This is yet another round of difficulties that states have had with the corporation over the years. In 2007 Entergy asked the Arkansas Public Service commission for a $106.5 million a year increase, but much of it was denied when it was found that the bulk of the increase was earmarked for custom golf balls, country club memberships for executives and other high-end items. The Arkansas-Democrat Gazette ran a story in today's paper regarding the case. Below are the clippings from the article.
