PENN STATE COACHES AND CONGRESS: Both Screwing Up

November 22, 2011 - For the last couple weeks you cannot watch any newscast at all without hearing a barrage of information about the Penn State scandal. Holy cow, it’s obvious that the coach in question is sick. Bad sick! He was molesting and jack hammering little boys left and right. But, you know, it’s sort of like congress, sick, because they’re raping America.
On Monday November 21, 2011 congresses “super committee” failed to submit a sensible idea for deficit (overspending) reduction. Nor did they come to any agreement regarding any way to pay down the debt America owes the loan sharks. And that leaves us working class Americans to take it up the old poop chute.
ABC World News Tonight reported today (11-22-2011) that a family making $50,000 a year will dole out an extra grand in taxes now. Because no agreement was struck by the so called “super committee” automatic cuts and tax hikes go into effect automatically in 2013. Because 2013 is when it all takes affect, 2012 is somewhat like the prisoner’s last request. “Would you like a last cigarette before the blind fold is put on?” I can hear congress telling us now. And speaking of questions….
“Would you like an apple pie with that happy meal?” is the question that more and more Americas are asking because they can’t find jobs doing anything else. Congress seems to understand little about the economy and how it works. And those who are part of the two ruling parties know the least.
Have you shopped for a generator lately? All Kohler engines are made now in China. The vast majority of Briggs and Stratton engines are made in China now. Tecumseh is out of business and you can’t find an America built generator head now days. They’ve all been outsourced, a term that probably needs applied to congress now.
What if we told congress “balance the budget, bring jobs home, cut out corporate welfare, return all the monies robbed from social security, shore up MediCare for the elderly or we’ll outsource your job!”? I’d be willing to bet they’d have it done quick, fast and in a hurry. The cause of our current state and the solution is pretty simple.
In the 1980s Regan gave Preferred Trading Status (PTS) to Japan which took over our shoe manufacturing for a while. All the electronics manufacturers went to Japan meaning no TVs or radios are made in the U.S. In the 1990s China was given PTS and NAFTA was signed. Did you know most Hershey’s candy bars are made in Mexico now along with much of the food you eat? In the 2000s Bushy Babe gave PTS to India… hell, just call for tech support on anything and you’ll talk straight to India. And now, Barak the Child has given South Korea PTS and also is in talks with a country in South America.
How about recalling all the PTS granted to other countries. Tell GE that they cannot do business here since they’re moving a large manufacturing plant to China. Tax the hell out of goods imported and manufacturing will start up again here at home.
Let’s start back making our engines here. Start making our TVs here. Quit giving every third rate dictator “financial aid” and put the money here. Bring the troops home and stop the nonsense. It's time we ditch the Republicans and Democrats and go with independent and third party candidates!!! Its obvious we need a total change in direction and get something totally different.
